Natural bug repellent- Coconut oil

By Admin On June 9, 2009 Under Featured Post, Tips

Coconut oil has so many uses!!!!! We recently started using it as a bug repellent. We just rub it on like a lotion or oil before going out. It has a low odor, is great for the skin, is edible (making it GREAT for infants and toddlers), and has been doing a great job of keeping the bugs away!!!!

I have not hear of coco-oil working. I may try it on my 5 month old. The mosquitoes just love to bite my baby. I have heard rubbing a dryer sheet on your skin also is a great repellent.

I did not know that, but my kids get eaten alive so I’m excited to try that. Thanks for sharing!
